Josh Thompson Unveils Brand-New Website Featuring First-Ever "Whack-A-Beer" Online Game Features First-Ever"Whack-A-Beer" Online Game
Self –Titled EP Available On All Digital Outlets

Nashville, TN – Columbia Nashville newcomer Josh Thompson has unveiled his brand-new website, in anticipation of his forthcoming debut album release, Way Out Here. Visitors to the site can now view videos and upload photos, follow Josh on Twitter, check on upcoming events, and interact in the online forums. Fans also have the ability to stream and purchase all four tracks from Thompson’s newly released self-titled digital EP.

In addition to rocking the country airwaves, Josh Thompson’s debut single, “Beer On The Table,” has provided inspiration for the first-ever “Whack-A-Beer” game, also featured on the new website. In the online game, players use a mallet to smash as many beer cans as possible before each round ends. Set in a cartoon honky tonk, the upbeat anthem about working hard to party hard serves as background music for the game as an animated Thompson plays guitar alongside the table.

"I never thought I would be in a online game, let alone one inspired by a song I wrote," Thompson says. "And especially one where the cartoon version of me looks better!"

"Beer On The Table," racked up points at radio this week as it smashed into Billboard's #26 slot, and continues to soar the country music chart. And Thompson doesn’t show any signs of slowing down anytime soon. Rounding out 2009 with a slew of December tour dates, Josh will also be performing next week on the Academy of Country Music Stage at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, followed by a show at Los Angeles’ Wiltern with Dierks Bentley and Eric Church.
